Home Remedies - how to have a home spa.

Most of us walk around 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day, that is a lot of steps! A foot spa is a great way to revive your feet, improve circulation and make you feet feel wonderful!

You will need:
  • Bowl or tub suitable for feet
  • Warm water
  • Essential oil, bubble bath, or other foot soaking mixture
  • Foot or body exfoliate
  • Foot or body lotion
  • Towels for dryingNail polish, polish remover (optional)
Step One:
Set up a bowl of warm water. Don't make the water too hot though as it will leave you feeling lethargic this is due to the fact that the hotter the water the  more your pulse rate will increase which drains energy :-). You can also add peppermint oil to revive your tired feet or lavender oil to sooth them. If you have swollen feet add a handful of baking powder or Epsom salts to the bowl.

Put on a bottom coat, two coats of your favourite colour and finish with a top coat. Sit back and relax again for 10 to 15 minutes. Please note is is best to not put socks or shoes on for at least 45 minutes as otherwise you will smudge your toes!
